“Sistine on the Sixteen” is the first single off of the up and coming album, Personal Journal Vol. I. The single talks about how vivid Cliz’s words can be. So much so that the lyrics can form pictures in the minds of those truly listening. In this sense, Art can be expressed through word and imagery fusing together as one. This will become apparent once you begin to listen to the song for yourself. And for those of you who aren’t familiar with dr. O, it is the alter ego of Cliz that speaks on topics that Cliz wouldn’t normally speak on. Huge thanks and shoutout to Aric Frank and Rob Caldwell of Nova Sango Studios for such a great production. Without these guys, it would be hard to bring to these projects to life. Another huge thanks to Layne Harper for such an amazing design on for the cover art. You killed it as always brother. Following an extremely busy month of March, Eman and Cliz met up in Atlanta to take care of some business. While they were there, they decided to hop on Kendrick Lamar’s, “Money Trees”, and this is what they created. Below, you can stream the song and the link attached is where you can go to download the new single. Thank you for your continuous love and support! #MayNothingStopYou #XLVL
After listening to every piece for Personal Journal, we knew we had to make some cuts to keep the album at a personal level. The Preface was born through this process. These songs were written for Personal Journal Vol. I but after careful consideration, they were not picked to stay on the album. Instead, we pushed them to a new EP for you. This way you can still catch a glimpse of what you will hear in Personal Journal without getting it to the full effect. Please enjoy as much as we enjoyed bringing it to you!. Big thanks to DJ Imminent for tracking and production as well as Nova Sango studios. Could not have done this without these wonderful guys. Artwork designed by Layne Harper of FFAS. Another humble guy so thank you Layne for the incredible vision. And thank you all for taking the time to listen to my work. Your support means more than you know. Together we can move mountains! #MayNothingStopYou

While you wait Imma give you a demonstration Of my creation Won’t be considered basic Next level nation Has come to take it May nothing stop you Or we will drop you No need for costume What you see is what you get we keep it real No need to fake it Money’s barely in the conversation We looking at the world and asking how to change it They only focused on getting famous I’m looking at my team like mother fucker we made it I’m spending money on this music barely getting the payments I don’t worry about it my goal is becoming the greatest moving the masses like Avis Sacrificing my savings And I’d do it all again I could never replace it Do you really want to hear about my new sneakers Drop-top two seater with a seat heater Shit that eras over now Hip hop has spit out the dummies so we can control it now
Why can’t you hold me down yea I know that you’ll come around yea Especially when I got the dopest sound In all of town And notice how I got here it’s not over now Under the influence of bush like Colin Powell And every time I saw the vision I just wrote it down Give you a second to digest it Then I go to town Don’t envy your win free like Oprah now What? I’ve seen the failures I’ve seen exactly how much this trail hurts I felt like I could have quit But that shit you just don’t admit When I reminisce I think about life and what it could have been And I get so pissed Cuz I don’t understand how I made those decisions I need to take responsibility pray for forgiveness Gave you my whole damn album in a song I just hope that whoever listen will want to sing a long
Upon watching Spoken Reasons’ interview with GGN and Snoop Dogg, we knew right away that we had to act. No disrespect, but we had to show Spoken Reasons that he isn’t just THE ONE and THE ONLY ONE. Bradenton is flourishing with talent that has yet to be exposed and in saying what he does in the interview, he casts a shadow over the city and in a sense, makes all of us less credible. Check out the interview of Spoken Reasons here and after, check out our new single, “Spoken Reasons”.
