Cliz & The Clockmen

I have always been a fan of Hip-Hop with a live band for performances.  With that being said, my engineer, Aric Frank, at Nova Sango Studios had the same thing in mind.  After months of searching and rehearsing with new band members, Cliz & The Clockmen was finally established.  The members that make up this band are Cliz (vocalist/MC), Aric Frank (bassist), George Bikos (guitarist), Paul King (guitarist), and Mr. David Curran killing it on the drums.  Together, we form a band that merges many various sounds into one, “no-genred” band that takes the live setting to a whole new level.  We believe in leaving people with an experience and on Sunday, May 22nd, we did just that.

summer survivors   Summer Survivors,  a Sarasota-based Rock/Reggae band, had a release party for their new album, “Hashed Out”.  We were blessed enough to have the opportunity to perform there as a band for the first time.  Paul, guitarist for Cliz & The Clockmen, hooked us up with the event because he actually plays with Summer Survivors and is very instrumental in all the success they have had.  This event took place at Gilligan’s Island Bar & Grill in Siesta Key, FL and had a turnout of 400+.  (Find Summer Survivors at: https://itun.es/us/Djh-bb)

Personal Journal Vol. I

For over two years, Cliz has worked on putting together his Personal Journal to release to the world. Over 50 songs were written, but only 11 made the cut. These 11 songs show his strengths, weaknesses, and even his vulnerability. It gives you every aspect of his life. Some that haven’t even been told to his closest friends and family. YOU have the opportunity to be the first to hear it. And YOU have the chance to be a part of this legacy. #MayNothingStopYou

New Single – “Sistine on the Sixteen”

“Sistine on the Sixteen” is the first single off of the up and coming album, Personal Journal Vol. I. The single talks about how vivid Cliz’s words can be. So much so that the lyrics can form pictures in the minds of those truly listening. In this sense, Art can be expressed through word and imagery fusing together as one. This will become apparent once you begin to listen to the song for yourself. And for those of you who aren’t familiar with dr. O, it is the alter ego of Cliz that speaks on topics that Cliz wouldn’t normally speak on. Huge thanks and shoutout to Aric Frank and Rob Caldwell of Nova Sango Studios for such a great production. Without these guys, it would be hard to bring to these projects to life. Another huge thanks to Layne Harper for such an amazing design on for the cover art. You killed it as always brother. Please sign up for the mailing list to get all of Cliz’s news first. #MayNothingStopYou #XLVL #SistineOnThe16

Home by: Cliz & Cliff

This song is special to us in many ways.  Cliff was born and raised here and I moved here about 9 years ago.  Ever since I did move here, this place just felt like Home to me.  I never really claimed a home because I moved around a lot as a kid.  But enough of me giving you a back story of the song itself.  You will be able to hear it all in the music.  The single was produced by Cliff, DJ Imminent, and myself.  We spent several days in the studio on this single.  Behind the camera was the wonderful Lena Hart.  She shot our entire Home photo shoot and created the cover art for the single.  If you haven’t gotten the chance to hear or download our new single, “Home”, then here is your chance.  Below you will be able to stream and go directly to iTunes!  #MayNothingStopYou
